Improvement in the Daguerreotype.

We learn from the New Orleans Commercial Times that one of the most
expert and successful Daguerreotypists in New Orleans, has made a
remarkable discovery in the art, which enables him to obviate the great
difficulty of executing portraits of children, who from their nature,
from the activity of their nervous system, cannot remain in repose many
consecutive seconds. In one second, he can take off a likeness with
the same accuracy, as by the old method, which required a comparatively
much longer time.
He has made application for letters patent for this improvement.

Posted for your enjoyment. Gary W. Ewer
