Village Curator Don Carpentier,
in front of the General Store; 4x5 inches

A master potter in his own right, Don makes process-authentic re-creations of rare ceramics for museums.
The General Store was brought to the Village from a nearby town. Among the trove of material that came with the store are photographs of the family that owned the store for generations, including a quarter-plate daguerreotype portrait of the owner during the 1840s and 1850s.
